Parishioners who love Christ and the faith are asked to consider assisting in this essential ministry for adults seeking the faith, and for non-Catholics and Catholics wishing to complete the sacraments of initiation. We also need Lectors and Extra-ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. Parishioners who have a reverence for Christ, embrace the teachings of the Church and are confirmed are encouraged to submit an application form. Forms are in the back of the church.

Crowning of Mary1. May, 2012Legion of Mary, NewsNo commentsOur May Crowning is Saturday, May 12th at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Parish. Families are encouraged to participate in this even, which includes a procession and group rosary. Lei or flowers may be brought to honor our heavenly Mother. Refreshments to follow. Linda Nishigaya from the Legion of Mary will be explaining the devotion of the Rosary, and its history, this coming Wednesday, May 2nd at 7pm in the Sacred Heart Parish Conference Room. She will also lead us in praying the rosary. |
