What is the AIDS Support Ministry?

The AIDS Support Ministry raises awareness of HIV~AIDS in the Manoa-Punahou Catholic Community.  It is a ministry that reaches out to those infected with or affected by HIV~AIDS both in our local community and beyond.

Who can join?

Anyone who is willing to give their time and lots of love is welcome to join the ministry.

What are the opportunities?

The outpouring of love from our parishioners allowed us to send badly needed financial aid that has helped Sr. Marion Hughes’ mission in Tanzania.  We hope to expand our outreach through the whole year instead of focusing on just one day (World Aids Day).  Just as Jesus reached out to help the Leper, we hope to reach out and touch those whose lives have been impacted by HIV~AIDS.
